Weight Management (lose, gain or maintain)
We’ll work together to achieve your goals and change your relationship with food gradually by creating lifelong habits via small, easy behavior changes. We’ll examine any potential barriers to progress (sleep, exercise, stress levels, emotions), and come up with a game plan for overcoming them. Together, we’ll find a style of eating that works with your current lifestyle and allows you to enjoy the foods you love.
Pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, post-pregnancy
Trying to get pregnant? Already pregnant? Ready to lose that baby weight healthfully? I’ll help demystify the common myths involving nutrition and pregnancy and show you that eating right, no matter what stage you’re at, can be easy. You’ll understand what to eat, when to eat and how much to eat for an ideal weight gain during your pregnancy and for a healthy baby. Post-pregnancy, we’ll work on incorporating appropriate nutrients into your diet while breastfeeding, as you lose the baby weight in a healthy way.
Not based in the Bay Area or just too busy for an in-person session? No problem! Virtual coaching allows you to receive all of the same benefits of one-on-one nutrition counseling but sessions take place over the phone, Skype, Google Hangout or FaceTime.
Grocery Store Tours
I’ll meet you at the supermarket of your choice and help you navigate the aisles, read nutrition & ingredients labels and explain common health claims. Together, we’ll stock up on nutritious, healthy food and generate easy, tasty meal ideas based on what we find.
Pantry & Kitchen Makeovers
I’ll come over to your home and we’ll review all of the food in your kitchen, pantry, fridge and freezer. We’ll re-organize to help make choosing healthy options and preparing delicious meals simple and convenient. I will also suggest alternatives and generate a customized healthy shopping list based on your needs, preferences and cooking skills.
Need help picking out healthy options at the restaurants you frequent? I’ll help you navigate menus and devise a plan for ordering wherever you go from lunch spots by the office to fancy dinners.
Looking to help increase the health and happiness of your employees? I can create customized health and wellness presentations and/or conduct an office kitchen makeover.

Weekly meetings for the first month are highly recommended. After the first month, most clients continue with bi-weekly sessions until we both feel that your new, healthy habits have become second nature.
Our time is totally focused on you, and our sessions are customized to ensure you get the support you need. Between meetings, I am always available via email and text.
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other. We’ll review your long-term goals, motivations, medical history, current eating and exercise patterns, and any other pertinent, health-related information. We’ll discuss potential barriers to reaching your goals and what behaviors you are willing to change. You’ll walk away with specific, realistic goals for you to work on between sessions to start you off on a path to long-term success.
Long-term, lasting change takes commitment and dedication. In each follow-up session, you’ll be recommitting yourself to your ultimate goal. We’ll talk about the progress you’ve made week-to-week, what’s been easy and what’s been a struggle. Based on your progress, we’ll continue to work on setting new short-term goals as you’re ready.
